Having completed her Diploma in Mortgage Broking and on the journey to completing her Bachelor in Financial Planning, Lisa is based in our Atherton Office and is our designating lending specialist taking care of all things finance.
Lisa joined the world of lending, when she kicked off with Astute in 2015 and it is safe to say she has found her calling. With a diverse background having worked in both an underground mine and an accounting office (not at the same time) one thing Lisa is not afraid of is hard work. She seamlessly made the transition from hi vis to high heels and shamelessly admits to her role with Astute being the best job in the world.
She is a natural with clients and her bubbly personality makes even the most nervous first home buyer feel at ease. She’s versatile, endlessly accommodating but prides herself on never taking no for an answer when she needs something done for her clients.
I had no understanding of how the insurance side of Astute worked. After my first visit with Peta I was blown away with how she explained everything to me. And what I didn’t understand she was happy to take the extra time to explain them again. I felt she was very thorough and when I left I was able to think about what suited my needs to make a decision on how I wanted to proceed. Thanks Peta for advice.
Being self employed is always a bit of a struggle when it comes to home loans. The amazing team at Astute made this happen for us. Their down to earth yet professional approach is very reassuring. Excellent customer service and follow up throughout the process that made it less nerve racking. Call them or pop in, make the first step and I can gguaranteethey will do their best to make it possible. I was very impressed with the quality of service and support. Jasmin really went beyond to ensure my equipment loan went as smooth and quickly as possible which took a great deal of stress out of setting up my new business. I found every time I rang the office with a query the phone was answered promptly. Gus and his team stayed in contact at all times either by email or phone just to make sure I had complete understanding of the forms I was signing and the procedures they were taking to finalise the loan. I was never left wondering what happens next.
We have been using John since we bought our first house in 2008 and taken sound advice from him in all our finance dealing ever since; which has included, opening a business, building our second house and now purchasing an investment property. We trust the advice given to us and not understanding the finance world hugely rely on the knowledge given to us in making decisions. We thank Verena very much with her patience throughout each deal and her simple way of explaining the overwhelming fluff that the banks put on paper. Johns stickmen and drawings helped us immensely 🙂 We really feel like we have actually made some good friends when dealing with Astute.
John and the team looked after us on many fronts from mortgage, superannuation and even life insurance. We even compared rates on our new vehicle lease and Astute came through better than any bank.
